Carla Fuqua

I am a highly motivated association management professional with a strong background in meeting management and strategic event design. At Bostrom, I serve as a senior meeting manager for multiple clients where I am responsible for providing conference and event planning, recruitment and management of sponsors and exhibitors, speaker management, and budget and vendor management. Meeting planning is my passion, and I am committed to producing high quality, innovative meeting experiences.

My Background

Prior to joining the Bostrom team, I was the Senior Manager, Meeting and Conferences at the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) where I led the charge with all meeting logistics, registration and speaker management, development of sponsorship opportunities, and creator of unique engagement attendee experiences.

I am a member of the Professional Convention Managers Association and earned my CMP designation in 2022. In 2011, I was awarded the IOM graduate recognition for completing a comprehensive course of study in nonprofit management through the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s Institute for Organization Management program.
