We had a ball this summer supporting our #1 cause for 2019 – animals! We kicked off the summer season with a Purrfect Pet Contest and donated the entry fees and winnings to six different humane societies across the country. A unique runway of interesting and lovable pets rounded out the contest, including dogs, cats, a mouse and a hedgehog. Yes, you read that correctly. Harriet the Hedgehog, proudly submitted by Bostrom Associate Starr Ellis, won both “Most Furrocious” and “Best in Show”.
We wrapped up the summer with a Shelter Shower supporting PAWS Lakeshore, chosen by Bostrom Content Marketing Manager Cat Wilson. PAWS Lakeshore cares for animals in Northwest Indiana, focusing on animals that are at immediate risk of euthanasia due to overcrowding and has been known to take in animals from out of state in the event of natural disasters. Bostrom staff supported this amazing organization by giving over $1,500 in supplies and donations.
From peanut butter and antler chews to puppy pads and tennis balls, Bostrom is proud to support organizations that are making a difference in our communities!
