Monday.com Elevate is an annual conference that brings together users from around the globe to share innovations, insights, and best practices for maximizing the project management platform’s potential. This year, Elevate was in three flagship locations—New York, London, and Sydney—with additional summits held in cities like Chicago. Having used Monday.com for a while now at Bostrom, I attended the Chicago summit this Fall to connect with other professionals, learn about the latest updates, and explore how the platform continues to transform project management for diverse industries, including association management.
Agility in a Fast-Paced Landscape
The need for agility was a key theme throughout the summit. As association management professionals, we know how quickly the landscape changes—whether in marketing, events, membership management, or education programs. Monday.com enables us to centralize and organize the constant influx of data and projects, ensuring we can pivot quickly while maintaining transparency and trust with our clients.
Enhancing Operations with Monday.com
At Bostrom, Monday.com is more than a project management tool—it’s the backbone of how we organize client operations. Utilizing its Workspaces function, we can manage each client’s unique needs in a centralized yet individualized structure. This allows our team to hop seamlessly between clients, staying agile and efficient.
We also take full advantage of Monday.com’s innovative board views, such as Calendar, Kanban, and Gantt, tailoring how we manage and visualize projects to fit specific goals. These views provide us with the flexibility to tackle anything from long-term strategic initiatives to real-time task tracking.
In addition, integrations with platforms like email marketing tools and analytics systems ensure smooth data flow, while automation reduces manual effort, saving time and improving productivity. WorkForms, one of Monday.com’s newer tools, has been particularly helpful in streamlining data intake—from event surveys to membership information—and turning it into actionable insights via visually appealing dashboards.
Exploring New Horizons with Monday.com
The summit also highlighted the breadth of Monday.com’s ecosystem. While we focus on Monday Work Management (sometimes called Work OS), other tailored solutions like Monday CRM for sales, Monday Dev for developers, and Monday Service for IT teams demonstrate the platform’s adaptability. The innovative WorkCanvas tool—a virtual whiteboard that integrates seamlessly with boards—was another standout, offering a way to move from brainstorming to execution with ease.
Data and Operations at the Core of Success
Managing associations means managing a staggering volume of data and projects. From marketing campaigns to membership databases, from education programs to event planning, operations touch every aspect of what we do. What sets Monday.com apart is the ability to centralize this complexity into one platform while continuously improving and adapting.
By standardizing automations, templates, and workflows, we ensure consistent execution across all teams. This level of organization doesn’t just help us keep up—it allows us to proactively evolve and meet the demands of our clients and the industries they represent.
Bringing It All Together
The Monday.com Elevate Summit was a powerful reminder of how far tools like this can take organizations in achieving their goals. For Bostrom, Monday.com isn’t just a tool; it’s a critical part of our approach to Agile Association Management, helping us deliver exceptional service, stay nimble, and thrive in an ever-changing world.
